From Brenlo's Update: Storyteller System: Just in time for Halas, and hopefully an influx of new players, we will be adding the Storyteller system. A new UI element that tracks quests together, in a meaningful way, to tell a larger story. When you are sent out to kill ten rats, we hope to provide a deeper understanding of why and how it fits into a larger picture, as well as showing how far along you have progressed in the story. This is the system that will tie the Golden Path together, giving new players a guided experience, if they choose, through some of our best content. Very interested to know what this is, how it will work.

Yes, this does interest me. I seem to lose track of quest and how they are cataloged in my journal. I pick a quest up in KJ but its in my journal as Seb. If I didn't read the quest I would have lost where it went. Just today I was looking for the quest that the queen gave me that you had to pick up inside the queens castle....Can't fidn it and don't remember what it was called.

Me too, I'm wondering if its just a different way to viewing and organising your quest journal, or if it will add in more lore/storyline as you link up quests. I do hope they can get the international distribution sorted in time for Halas and a marketing campaign too, the wheels turn slowly at SOE it seems when it comes to making more money sometimes :)

I always thought the quest system could be improved by using the ingame mail system more.
For example, a player should receive a mail when they are eligible for a Heritage Quest.

I still remember the farce when they tried to organise an EU Fan Faire.
