[EQ2] Single Character Rollbacks Options

I did not know that SOE could rollback a single character x number of days. Whenever SOE talks about cleaning stuff up they usually mention that they will go in and find the items that need to be deleted and clean them up that way. On rare instances they have done serverwide rollbacks, however this single character rollback is new to me. Anyone ever had this happen to them, or know someone that did?

They also are mentioning about stripping some characters of ALL their gear, boy that must hurt if the character in question has T4/Avatar gear. I'd be interested in knowing why this happens, I wonder if its due to the exploiter using the duplicated materials to then adorn their gear? I bet there are some people who will log in with this sort of face :D

I think you are actually right lomax, I don't know if a permaban should be a viable option for a dupe bug (to be fair SOE should have caught this well before it went to production). That being sais stripping ALL their gear/items/spells would be a great way to punish.
