I am working my way through Crisis Core now, not as good as the original FFVII but still damn good for a handheld game.

I enjoyed Crisis Core, yes no FFVII, but atleast it does build on one of the best stories ever told. It ends on such a downer, but I guess you kind of see that coming since it is a prequel.
