Good read: SOE Marketing Dept. Largest Roadblock to EQ2 Marketing?We have been bitching about SOE'd marketing for years on the podcast. From not getting the boxes into stores, to not even really pushing digital distribution. Some one over there needs to get a clue.

He sums it up perfectly as a farce, but my impression is that in the US the marketting of the game isn't too bad since big stores like Walmart carry the timecards etc.
But in the UK at least its clear nothing has been marketed/sold heavily for at least two years, there is not a single SOE game anywhere to be brought physically now I've seen. I'm optimistic that things could change since Kiara on the forums has mentioned that they are in negociations with 1-2 international distributors, so its likely we'll at least be able to buy the game in the EU and hopefully NZ/Aus.
I do wonder though if the Sony Games division know the situation with their subsidiary? Or is Sony Games the one currently in charge and not doing their job?
