I will be making some changes to how PVP writs are granted in the short future. (GU 54)

Brief summary of changes:

I will be removing all overland zone writ givers.

City writ givers will grant you a Most Wanted Poster. This item will grant you a writ anywhere in the world and it will have a 10 minute reuse timer.

Writs will autocomplete, no need for you to run to a writ giver to complete your writ. Once the bauble is out of charges, you will need to get another one from the writ giver.

Your risk will be loss of coin if you happen to complete your writ and die shortly after. Other then that, you have the ability to roam the world and complete your 10 writs when and were you choose.

Safe hunting,

Olihin

A welcome change!!!!

This change will reduce the zerging at the writ givers. Granted players will still line up in KP to kill each other but I still think this change will spread PvP across more zones and reduce the lag around the writ givers.

Easier...not sure but lets face it EQ2 has been moving to an easier play style for all types of players so why not PvP? Did they just make any past gains trival..maybe but does that matter. Look at the nerf to VS. Did that make all mythicals trival? Not in my opinion it just removed a barrier for the player base. Which will usally result in a happier majority in the player base.
