From time to time I've mentioned playing Entropia Universe. They recently upgraded to the Cry2 Engine. While many don't like the micro-transaction/RMT aspect of the game - the graphics are really incredible.

I have to say I was never impressed by the game (albeit I only tried it for I think about 10 days) but that is a hell of a graphics overhaul. I might say bigger than EQ1's graphics overhaul.
