I wouldn't say they were joke easy, unless you get these messages for doing low level zones, checking out guild progress I'm not seeing masses of guilds getting there, although whether people update that as often as the WoW version is a hard one.

Maybe there are more then in the old days though, but I did not know how many raids bosses there were in EQ2.

You don't get the message server wide until you actually receive your mythical.

Well it only takes ROK Bosses to get your myth and with all of the TSO gear, you can 2 group the low tiered zones.

Mythical Updates need two of the following:
Thugga, Pawbuster, Protectors Realm (T1, 20 min zone tops, SUPER EASY)
KorSha (OverKing), Venril Sathir (T2, VS is still tricky since one person can easily wipe the raid, but can pull it off within a few pulls)
Leviathan (T3, also a joke once you have the strat down and a few mages with over 80% spell Crit)
and VP is really about learning the strats... thats it!

TSO gets a lot harder raid wise, its even hard to get started in these zones w/o your mythical. My raid force is trying to progress through these now.
