I seem to remember a certain podcast where mobile EQ2 mini games/tasks spun off from the main game were mentioned, for me the idea of having sub games that can be done to influence things in the main game would be very cool, I could see this as a big thing in gaming if a company of Blizzard's or SOE's size was to try expanding the game a little.
Things like crafting too are so simple that they could be done on a phone anyway, perfect for being jazzed up for mini games and they seem to be a really big missed business opportunity as far as I can see, it would actually be a big draw for me buying an upgraded phone (my main one dates back from 1997, a Nokia 7110, although I did use a 9500 for a while which was perfect for passing the time in hospital after a freaky car crash, although ironically the phone part was a bit knackered :P).

I haven't been able to even view the video. Can you send to me a different way? Or was it removed by the user...

I saw a link that was viewable from the virginworlds blog links a day or so ago. I'll try to find it again. It's pretty cool but not real functional as far as actually using it to do anything other than check the auction house, talk to your guild or just move around the city a bit. I don't think it's to the point where you could efficiently use it to play the game.
