Not much right now

Still reading through

The parties over Pretty serious topic, but I'm interested in the oil/energy future especially peak oil.

And as light reading

The Vampire Genevieve (Warhammer) The author is good and manages to mix in some cheesy humour with good story lines.

And just finished

Patrick Moore autobiography A fan of the guy, very readable autobiography from the man himself

I've read a few books on Peak Oil/Hubberts, I think the most well written was Hubbert's Peak: The Impending World Oil Shortage, it s great read if you have the time.

Adding Patrick Moore Auto bio to my queue ;)

I didn't know you were a fellow peak oiler ;) and thanks, I'll have to check that one out, I've read a few books on the subject, yet not found any answers to the problems described that I like so far.

And out of interest, how well know is Patrick Moore over in the US? In the UK he is quite well known, I have not seen the sky at night recently though to see if he is still presenting it (its always on at a silly 2am time once a month). The Amazon excerpt is a good sample for how the whole book is, well worth reading.

I know of his work, but I don't know much about him. It sounds like his personality and such is known a lot more in the UK. I don't think I have ever seen even an interview with him over here on the "telley" :)
