[EQ2] Using 1-9 chat as Server Wide Channel? Options

Rank: Completly bathed in our weirdness. Groups: Member Joined: 11/6/2007 Posts: 84 Points: 252		Players on the Bazaar server are using the level 1-9 channel as the default server channel. People chat freely and LFG in that channel. Nearly no activity in the other channels. While I see this can be useful because of different level alts - it makes me wonder - where are all the 1-9 'new' players? If EQ2 was attracting new players then I'd expect 1-9 to be filled with new players looking for groups in noob zones or asking basic questions. I'm not seeing that. I'm seeing basic chat and people looking for groups in ToS. Makes me think that EQ2 is top heavy and not pulling in new players. A bad sign if you ask me.

I think leveling is so quick now, its just that no one stays in <9 for more than a day. Even someone who has never played.
