Looks like we are filling in the shadowman Lore.

This sounds like an entirely new storyline/place. That is good imho.

Looks like this might mesh well with what some people are calling "Vhalen's Farewell".

Cool sounds dark... They haven't really made a real dark expansion yet.

Think we'll get another fall release or they going to push it back to 2009?

There is a window between June and November (?) between AoC and WAoR. if they released in september they could take advatage of that mebbe?

Something dark would be cool though. Ive always hated those shadowmen freaks.

I think every expansion has been the week around Nov 18th, so I would assume it would be the same for this one.

But who knows. War and AOC are going to eat EQ2 alive I fear, at least on the pvp side.

There is no doubt about it. I'm usually reluctant to say "wait till game .... comes out, it will spell the end of game....." I mean look at EQ1. It's still going strong and I think I heard something the other day that said as far as subscribers go it's got more or at least the same as EQ2. Is that true? I do feel like AOC is building great momentum and its an EQ looking world so it's going to put a hurting on EQ2 PVP. Warhammer will be the nail in the coffin. After those two games are out, Nagafen is going to be like Vox and Venekor and I bet they merge all three into 1 PVP server. TBH, I'm looking forward to playing a non SOE game.

I personally will give AoC a roll, am flat out not hiding the fact that I expect to play Warhammer with all the enthusiam I can muster - it will have to prove me wrong.

That beng said - I will have a terrible time completely walking away from EQ2 especially as new content is released. It is still a Norrath I am fond of and am still making memories in.
