I saw a magazine ad for this game yesterday that had a May 20 release date. Anyone wanting to check out this game? Graphics look pretty awesome, and they have extra gory fights! http://www.ageofconan.com/

Yes, I will be there at release....just to check it out, see if it's something I would consider moving to. Actively searching for an alternative home for my gaming. AoC and Warhammer are currently on the plate for me.

I've got the collector's edition on pre-order and will be in game for the early release and the release. I've been following it for a while, know some people who are in beta and they are giving it pretty solid marks.

I will also be giving it a shot, unlike most however, I have serious questions about the combat system.
I also hope it will be a smooth rollout. The ambitiousness of this game in feature set and graphics remind me of Vanguard and we know what happened there. But, this being an experienced studio we'll see.

The only reservations I have so far is I've heard it's heavily instanced, has some invisible walls (dunno how much) and may limit your hot keys to 6 (Guild Wars style.) I won't like it if I can only use 6 skills at a time. Not sure if that's true or not. We shall see. Good news is they are supposed to have an open beta before launch so we will have a chance to see for ourselves.

I'll be signing on for some hackin'n'slashin. Don't know much about the IP or the game so far, but as it's the first AAA fantasy MMO since LOTRO, it should be worth a whirl.
Given how much it's been delayed, one things for sure - if it's no good at launch, you can't expect it to improve much.

I'll revive this thread in a month, but lets all plan on getting on the same server and play together. Things are always more fun that way :)
