Wow This sounds like a whole lot of not fun.

They really have a different idea of how to keep a franchise alive than EA/Red Octane... seems like they would have learned from Rocks the 80's, but I guess not.

My task is done/My song has ceased/My theme has died into an echo/It is fit.

No No No No No...... I think you may have it all confused.

The annoucement was this : http://crave.cnet.com/8301-1_105-9873014-1.html?part=rss&tag=feed&subj=Crave

Their next goal is to take over the world. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to get back to trying to beat this song on hard....

Alright Cyan, wassup with the Aerosmith hatred you have. I remember you posting once before that they were in some way sellouts. I don't love Aerosmith to death although I do think Dream On is freakin awesome.

However, I believe Aerosmith and Elton John are the only two acts in history to be top 10 cross genre popularity in 4 different decades - so are they sellouts or just freakin smart?

I can admit Dream On was a great song, and if Living on the Edge comes on the radio I do sing along, but that was Aerosmith at its peak.

The only thing Aerosmith has given this world that is in any way fun is their rocking roller coaster down at disney.

Everything else is just poop.

No... that was an announcement too. But they are releasing a Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, which just seems like a bad idea. I'm going to pay for a whole game just to get a few new songs? By *one* artist? I.don't.think.so. Especially when I can get individual new songs for Rock Band? And join the 2.4 million other song downloads? Like I said... I think EA has the right idea in the case, and Activision is mission the boat...

My task is done/My song has ceased/My theme has died into an echo/It is fit.
