X Box Live is down on the first Saturday of the Christmas holiday. Of course I have been busy doing last minute Christmas stuff all day so I don't get to log in till 10PM and find out that it's not there. Apparently it's been this way all day and there still nothing formal on when it will be fixed or even what's wrong.

Wow, talk about a total screw up. Probably one of their highest play level days and they are forcing their paying customers to go do something else.

If they are down now, I wonder what is gonna happen on the 25th-30th when everyone is trying to sign up their new consoles.

The servers came back up sometime early this morning.

Are they so focused on day to day work that they don't look forward and project issues like this? You would think someone would be thinking strategically. I guess I could ask the same question of SOE.
