So last week I bought KUF: Cirlce of Doom and the same day I brought it home I received Ace Combat 6 from Gamefly. I had played the demo for KUF and really enjoyed it, but to be honest it grows tiring. It is a beautiful game, but the actual content gets old. So I popped in Ace Combat on Friday night and usually I just go right to the game, but I decided to watch the intro:
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/20597.htmlFirst off, thats one of the coolest intros (and game music) I have seen in a game, I still get goosebumps watching it. Second, the game is beyond fun, I am only on Mission 7 as of now, but this is by far the most fun I have had playing a flight sim in years. The dogfighting is pretty sweet, and not only is the main storyline a work of art, but the multiplayer is totally a blast. I played 8 on 8 the other night, and although it is somewhat of a frag fest (16 people in about a 20 mile cube) it is very fun.
If you have a 360 pick up the demo, you won't be able to multiplay I don't think, but still you can do the first 2 missions to get a feel for the game. I am having a lot of fun with it.
