Good Quote by Garriot: Quote:“As many kudos as I would like to give World of Warcraft, it’s basically a remake of EverQuest, just incredibly polished and refined,” he said. “There are harbingers of failure in that model. Everyone in these games is obsessed with the concept of how much damage-per-second they are inflicting and maximizing their D.P.S. When you do that, you are no longer playing a role; you are playing an inventory-management game.” http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/02/arts/02tabu.html?_r=2&ref=technology&oref=slogin&oref=sloginAnother Wired Article: http://www.wired.com/gaming/gamingreviews/news/2007/11/tabularasa

I like that qoute, I don't know about the game though. The idea of am MMO shooter doens't appeal to me, personally. But I've never big a huge fan of shooters, Halo 2 about all I got. Halo 3 isn't even doing it for me like 2 did, so who knows. But then again it does seem like it'd be fun to get out of the fantasy grind and try something new in an MMO setting.

My future daughter in law is one of the writers for Tabula Rosa so I guess I will have to at least give it a shot. However having seen the game grow up it doesnt do anything for me as I am not a great fps guy.

It is very FPS. Honestly like a big mix of Planetside (without huge PVP), SWG and AO.
