is it because I made a post basically saying the forums look nice (but empty) in the General EQ2 thread, realized there was already a thread about the new forums, posted my "hey looks good" here and deleted the other one?

It seems okay to me... kind o bright though...
Test it with #BBBBBB or #CCCCCC for the background.

I think I'd prefer a slightly larger font by default but that's probably just me :) So what's with the points thing anyway?

That is weird i am unable to post on my laptop, i get errors.. Not sure why though. My laptop is my Development computer so i allwasy updated, this desktop isn't updated but can use it.

A bigger font size is needed, I didn't notice until I read that, but I was leaning into my screen to read the posts. Maybe it's just me and my innate fear of change, but I liked the old scheme. But I can't complain about this one either, it isn't bad, but white is just so, so, bland? Noobie? Not sure, would it be possible to offer multiple skins? And I agree it does seem more roomy right now.
