Salvatore, who has written numerous books based in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, is tight-lipped about Amalur, but says that he has created a Tolkienesque 10,000-year-long back story: "I think we can say that we are talking about a high fantasy world with multiple races."

Curt Schilling tries new ballgame

To be honest I don't get anywhere near as excited as a I used to about new MMO's, but will most certainly be giving this a whirl if only to see what Blackguard/Moorgard/Salvatore have cooked up.

Same here, looks pretty decent from the limited amount I have seen

Whole lot of big news coming out of 38 Studios this week:

Schilling's 38 Studios Moving To Rhode Island

I wish them the best, and I am sure this is the best move for the company, but I tend to agree with this assesment:

But the loan guarantee has already drawn criticism from gubernatorial candidates in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, who expressed concern that taxpayers would be left with the burden of the $75 million loan default if 38 Studios failed.

If I were a local tax payer I wouldn't want my money going to that in any way shape or form.
