I just got back into EQ2 after a year long break and I just leveled myself up from 66 to 90 in the quickest way possible. I just dried up all the quests in Stonebrunt and Sundered Frontier and I'm only at 160 AA. Now that I am max level I'm curious about how to burn through AA experience. I hear quests are good for that but most are grey and some are green. Do I chrono down or do I still get the same AA exp from quests no matter my level?

Welcome back.

If you chrono down you will get sligtly better AA for a quest turn in.

So I'm just better off staying 90 and burning through lower-level quests?

I'd definitely chrono down since if you do quests grey they might be fast but you'll miss the XP, and the mentoring down will already give you a little boost to your power. I find the dungeon quests to be the best source of XP/AA, but I've not found a magic formulae for getting all the AA fast, I just find things I want to do that I'll also enjoy and let the AA come.

Thinking about it I've not seen any "I levelled 0 to 240 AA in 4 hours" type posts going around either...

This is all good advice, but one thing I didn't see mentioned is named. I'm sitting at level 90 and 213 AA atm. Thinking back I wasnt sure if I have ever been to Kaladim on my main character. They also recently changed Kaladim from level 60s to level 30ish zone. So I mentored to level 40 and went in there solo hunting down and killing every named on track. Between that and disco, I got about a whole AA point just for that zone and it only took me about 20 mins. If there are any zones u missed, mentor and go back for disco and Named AA. Every Named u haven't gotten AA for yet will have a star above their head.
