Hola

I have a confession - I'm not much of a console gamer. In fact, I haven't owned a console since the Nintendo 64.

Recently I purchased a used xbox 360 and I need a suggestion for a particular type of game.

I'm living abroad and the other foreigners in my area are not into gaming. However, from time to time a few stop over to hang out. I'm looking for a 360 game with an easy learning curve that might be interesting for non-gamers to play.

Shooters and RPGs games are pretty much out.

So I'm thinking something like FIFA 10 or maybe Guitar Hero. Any suggestions?

Oh. I know....I should have gotten a Wii.

My suggestions would be:

Dance Dance Revolution
Guitar Hero/Rock Band/Lips

and to check out some of the arcade titles like:

The Hasbro Game Collection
Catan
and Uno

Forget the Wii, the 360 is a much better party gaming machine and only getting better.

I would say a shooter can be fun - they are not that hard to learn. I've always found Halo to be a good party game with other males. Women like things like Guitar Hero / Rock Band. Cyan recommended titles like Uno and some of Hasbro's games - however these cannot be played with guests at your house, they can only be played with other people on the internet.

I would try Shadow Complex and Trials HD, both of which are downloadable from within Xbox Live. In the UK they cost about £10 each so you wouldn't be wasting too much money if they aren't to your liking.

Both games are very easy to get into and would appeal to none gamers.

Any of the guitar hero games are a good call too, they are always great fun.
