Reuters : UPDATE 2-China clamps down on Activision's top online game

It looks to me like they really haven't found a way of paying the right people in the right positions, since they have apparently performed "gross violations of regulations" while running the 2007 Burning Crusade expansion.

Isn't free trade wonderful, if there is a silver lining then I think it's that we won't get any more stories of record subscribers any time soon. I've always wondered though if gold selling was turned a blind eye to here, I wonder if we'll see it clamped down on now.
