In my opinion a MMO is very similar to a drug. It takes you out of this world and into another where all your life problems don't matter. True it may not have a bad side on the same scale as heroine, but too much of any one thing is not good for you. I'd put MMOs in the Weed/Beer category. They can be fun and relaxing and there is a slim chance of any harm being done. Just don't overdo it because once your body gets used to easily escaping, it can be hard to stop.
