Has anyone heard any buzz on when the level cap will be raised and whether it will be put to 90 or 100?

Which was what pushed me into finally reaching max level with my main. First time in 10 years of EQ/EQ2 that I hit the level cap before the moved it :)

Hmm, a question here then. Do you get a 10% XP buff for hitting maximum adventure level only or does this work for tradeskills too?
Still only just reaching the 60's here, but I might just go all out with the tradeskilling and cap them first if it gives me an XP buff especially. My motivation here is to reach Guk and lower Guk before the expansion comes out since I really enjoy getting into the Froglok lore.

I wonder/guess the 10% bonus will only be applied at current level cap. So I assume once the expansion comes out (and cap bumped to 90) that the bonus will be gone until you have a character that reaches 90?

Yes, you get a 10% XP buff on your other toons on that account (and, of course, *only* on that account. Spent some time wondering why I wasn't getting my 10% bonus on the other toon I was logged in as - on my other account. Doh) I believe that yes, it is applied when you're at the level cap so once the expansion arrives, the bonus is gone until you're 90.

So I still have the question though, does this apply say to a character who is adventure level 10 but a level 80 provisioner?
I.E. Would he then give me an XP bonus to the rest of my characters?

I can't speak from personal experience (my highest TSer is 50) but as I understand it, just as level 80 adventure gives you 10% bonus adv xp, so a level 80 tradeskiller gets 10% tradeskill xp on his other toons.

I.E. Would he then give me an XP bonus to the rest of my characters? You get a 10% bonus to your adventuring XP for each character you have at level 80 for an adventure class. You also get a 10% bonus to your TS XP for each toon you have at leve 80 for a TS profession. So if you have 1-80/80 toon all other toons on that account get a 10% bonus for both adventure and TS. If you have 1-80/10 Ranger/Prov and a level 20/80 Monk/Jeweler - all the other toons would still get the 10% adventure and TS bonus because you have 1 level 80 of each type. I'm guessing this bonus requirement will move to 90 when the cap is raised. I really like this carrot SoE has implemented. It is a strong motivator to play several/all of your toons so you can realize the XP bonus. For example, imagine you play 5 toons to level 80 and then you roll a new toon. You get a 50% xp bonus on that new toon. Or, if you are a full-time crafter and you get 5 toons to the max level in TS. A newly rolled TS character would also get the 50% xp bonus.

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense then, there is no quick cheat to just tradeskill up a few characters and then leap into adventuring, not that I was in a real rush anyway ;)
