I am thoroughly impressed with the new LS. I have been progressing through questline for the daily shard quest. The shard quest itself is pretty cool - one of those disguise quests where your enemies are Shadowmen that can only be seen while the disguise is on. The disguise looks like something from the movie Alien :)



All the mobs in Temple of Sol Ro look to be new models with a nice bluish undead glow - I forgot to screeny those. And LS stable mounts are nice as well although it is hard to see in this screenshot.



Overall I am impressed with Lavastorm - there are new collections and pvp action is available due to the shard quest and of course the TSO dungeons.

I would agree it can be boring - but any repeatable quest is boring if only because it is by default monotonous. However, I still think the final quest is well done - I like the quests which use guises, and this one only allows the mobs to be seen with the guise on.

I don't think it takes long though - maybe 15 minutes for 39g and a shard? That isn't bad at all.

Also there are new npc models throughout the zone - I am impressed by the work generally when comparing it to old LS. I hope they do this over time with all the old zones.
