Wow, they look fantastic graphics. A Warhammer nut in our guild has tried the game, its apparently a big change from the original in that you spend more time building up a squad of troops with more of a RP feel to it (upgrading their abilities) then base building (I think he said there wasn't any base building in the solo game, but the multi player maps kept it).
On the downside though the talents you could give your troops were a bit linear. e.g. you'd always upgrade ranged weapons skills for a ranged weapon unit, but they might tinker around with that I guess. It looks interesting to me and it does have some promise, I'll be interested to see what you make of it as I'm a big Warhammer 40K fan myself.

I canceled my preorder for this after playing the Demo. For some reason i just wasn't digging it. The lack of building and only troops was kinda lame.

I was actually considering DoW2 because I aboslutely love the series. Relic did a bang up job for the RTS scene that is for sure.
But like you Cyanbane, the demo didn't really appeal to me. That and I read somewhere that in the single player campaign, only the Space Marines would be played. For me, I'll wait a year or two for DoW2 to see what the expansions might offer.

This game is so much better than the Demo. The campaign is phenomenal, I haven't even gotten into the multiplayer yet. I'm on under my x360 tag (see sig) if anyone wants to kick in a game.
