"Dear all,
I rarely address players directly, but I wanted to write you as too few of you have been able to access the open beta today.
As my team explained in the previous post, although we have opened the servers and corrected numerous issues during the last 24 hours but we have not yet solved the issue of saturated Open Beta key activations that we’re currently experiencing. I am sincerely sorry for this, and I understand all the frustration the situation has spawned.
Today was a dark day. We expected a massive influx of players, but reality was even harsher. I personally commit that we will communicate to you as clearly as possible on the resolution of these current issues. My goal is to give Warhammer Online the success it deserves. Be ensured that all GOA teams, with Mythic’s support, are working hard to bring you the best possible game experience.
Best regards, Ghislaine Le Rhun GOA CEO"
These French boys had a bad day with the OB yesterday. Amazingly, they gave out 100,000 beta keys .... and 100,000 people turned up to play! Who could have imagined that?
I don't think they've seen "Field of Dreams".

Well, you say they "had a bad day yesterday" but it's 20:34 on the 9th here now and they dont seem to be much further on! I didnt manage to get into the closed beta so I have had to start the registration process from scratch this weekend, and it's been an absolute mess, MUCH worse than AoC or any other MMO release I've seen, beta or live.
The only reason I've persevered is the glowing reviews you guys have given the game on these forums. I just hope the EU servers and players are as cool a place/crowd as the US ones sound.

Finally! After 3 days and 43 attempts a registering my beta key, I'm in. I'm still waiting for the e-mail confirmation that tells me I'm allowed in, before which (apparently) I can't get in.
I hope you've managed to get in by now rspyda.
Incidentally, today they have compared the euro beta launch to the launch of Terminal 5 at Heathrow. (Big project, well planned but unanticipated problems etc etc) Bless them. In a sense, it's refreshing to see a management company admit they got it so so wrong - but it does show how bad things have to be before they will admit that.
And while the graphics are ugly, the thing rocks. A lot.
