So just wondering how far into the game are you guys? I've hit 32 and just been doing quest after quest after quest. I hear people talking about Sanctum groups and I'm hoping to get my first exposure to instances in the next couple of levels. I keep finding grey quests all over the place and I am not sure if I've screwed up and skipped alot of stuff or not. Cancelled EQ2 totally and making this my only game for now. Hoping by the time I reach the end levels that they've added some end game content, I hear it's lacking. But enjoying everything so far. Enjoying it so far, although I am starting to feel a little "Kunarkish" with all the quests and not being able to share with friends due to prerequisites. I am level 28 atm.

Dinged 39 last night. I am loving the scenery. I enjoy the combat. The quest grind is wearing on me though - very much like RoK in fact.
As I posted previously I really enjoy being able to quest when I know I am on for a limited amount of time. However, when I know I have a good block of play time I would really like to get a group for a good 'ole dungeon crawl. This doesnt even exist until late 30's with Sanctum. Sanctum is perhaps the only zone I ever here people publicly advertising for.
This is a bit of a problem right now. There are tons of people running around doing there own thing trying to race for 80. There is no organized guild warfare right now, keeps are not fully implemented, dungeon groups are scarce - in the end it is a quest grind with FFA pvp.
However - this game is designed with the organized guild in mind with its PvP system. I can already see that once the guilds are reaching end game and establishing themselves the organized warfare will begin and I can't wait for that.

Theo I hit level 40 last night on my assassin. I rode my war mammoth for the first time, which is freaking awesome!!! I put on all my new level 40 gear that I scored in Sanctum: a red tunic with gold embroidery all over it, two dagger with a lifetap ability and some jewelry. When you get to your high 30s, I would farm this freaking place a few times! I can't wait to start crafting. As far as lack of organization, I think this has to do with the guild you are in. My guild has groups every night... we try to get as many people as we can involved. I've been leading some sanctum runs for gear because 30 to 40 is definitely an odd place to be in AoC in that respect. I'll be heading to the Noble District tonight. We have also been running groups through a lot of pvp minigames because we need pvp points to get our battlekeep. You guys should just reroll on Doomsayer and join my awesome guild!

I am just hitting 40 and actually looking for the Sanctum groups. I understand Sanctum is a great dungeon. And our guild is very organized, we are about 70 consistent players, most of which are already far ahead of me. We are competing to be server firsts or at least near firsts on all aspects of our guild city.
What I was referring to is organized warfare - guild v guild. The sieges arent in place on the server, even if they were the mechanic of the guild cities are not implemented as of yet.
All of that points to an end game PvP. The games pvp is definitely centered aournd end game seige warfare and the servers have not matured to that point yet.

I see. I can't wait for that stuff to start happening. Sanctum is a must for high 30s!

I am aroudn 32ish I think, I haven't played much this week and instead been hitting up the 360, but Conan is a beautiful game and I really enjoy it. Personally I am taking a much much more laid back approach to leveling and playing, although I will say I am eager to see how the end game pvp/siege etc is going to be. It sounds awesome right now, but I will make my final decisions when it is live in game. Also still hoping for a WH beta invite :)

I'm cruising along on a relatively casual pace. Currently level 45 working on stuff in the Noble District and Field of the Dead. I'm enjoying the game but I'm getting a bit tired of all the solo quests. I guess that's what MMOs have become these days with the exception of Vanguard. Ironically, in the one group xp oriented game, there are very few groups to be had.

What development company won't look at the succsess of WoW and the debacle of Vanguard and quickly summise that fast leveling and solo questing is the only way to make money. It is ashame, a game like VG would have had a long term successful niche IMO - basically filling the role of EQ2 for the next several years if it had released in better shape with all the promised features. I must give major props to the two mature games - WoW and EQ2 - RoK aside I feel there is good balance of solo and group content through all levels. That is all we should ask for.

After level 60, grouping is almost a must -- at least on the pvp servers. The mobs spawn pretty quickly and the bosses are pretty tough. I've found you can get some pretty cool gear in Aztel's. My assassin is level 64 now.
