I really loved the fact that I could play EQ2 in a windows mode, but haven't been able to find an option (not that I've even really been in the game yet) to play in window mode. Anyone have any information on this?

Anyone have any information on this? Set it and restart the game, or use the settings tab from launcher. For some reason it is not switching back to window from full screen while in game. You can go windowed to full screen in game but it is not going back without a relaunch. I am sure this will be fixed soon.

Do you have a recommendation of a resolution of windows mode?

I havent adjusted it at all, it runs a window that stretches to fill your screen by default, my default resolution 1680x1050 and I have not made an adjustment moving from full to windowed mode.

You can run simpleconfing.exe in your AOC directory and unclick the fullscreen box. Not sure what resolution looks good in windowed mode as I prefer full screen myself. I do know that you can alt-tab out so that works well for me.

yeah I have never had a problem alt-tabbing either, it seems very smooth, music stops, and doesn't take a long time to switch back (sometimes EQ2 stutters at this point).
